This Global Business Economics course offers the understanding of influence of global economy on the relationship among firms, competitors and consumers. It integrates economic modes of thought and business strategies to analyse business situations for managerial decisions in a global perspective. In general, theory of consumer behavior, demand analysis and business forecasting allow businesses or firms to understand and guage their customers' preferences, decisions and demand. On the other perspective, the nature of industry, market structure, business strategies and pricing strategies have great impacts on business performance. The influence of global economy on managerial decisions are further illustrated via case studies included in this course.
