This course covers essential topics on occupational safety and health applicable to address occupational safety and health issues in the workplace. This course also enables students to analyze the effects of workplace exposures, injuries and illnesses, fatalities and the methods to prevent incidents using the hierarchy of controls, effective safety and health management systems. Numerous case studies are presented which refer to current successful safety management techniques, practical guidelines and followed by site visit to one of workplace for discovery and reflection session. Data management and prediction related to safety and health at workplace is also included.
