Micro-credential in Operations Management

This course focuses on the importance of managing operation; how to implement them strategically to improve productivity and to achieve competitiveness. In achieving this, the course covers important areas in Operation Management and two other today's operation management related concepts which are Quality Management and Supply Chain Management. Managing quality in daily operation is discussed through topics
such as TQM and Statistical Process Control. Supply Chain Management on the other hand emphasizes on the challenges in matching demand and supply, eliminating waste, and reducing costly inventory. Discussions on qualitative theories and revision on quantitative techniques cover both manufacturing and service industry.
