This course offers a comprehensive exploration of the Human Development Approach and the Human Rights-based Approach, focusing on methodologies that prioritize people-centered strategies for community development. Participants will delve into the nuances of basic need fulfillment, need analysis, and the balance between needs versus capacities and assets. The course further examines enhancing human capabilities, community capacity-building, asset development, uncovering potential leaders, and ethnodevelopment within the Human Development Approach. Additionally, it covers the application of the Human Rights-based Approach in community engagement, consultation, mobilization, and effective facilitation strategies.
